At Pause...momentarily

A feedback received from a customer pointed out that my work was messy and not as expected. I now need to seek recluse in a cave somewhere and improve on my overall presentation.


With a sack of muffettes on my back, I now walk the long mile on a quest of cake perfection. If you see me pass by, offer me not solace nor consolation, it's solitude I am after. May this journey take me to a place where cakes are made to perfection without any hairline cracks nor any blotches of despair. And that place is definitely not here.

Dear Wiz,

Honestly, i don't see any major problems with the cakes. i know you too well Wiz, you made the cake according to the specifications that the customer has given you. And i am very sure that your customer requested the deep red colour (i know you love pastels) plus the design. Did she know how difficult it is to produce the deep red colour! And the writing "selamat bertunang" - it is not easy to do as most of the templates are in english.
Just ignore this customer's comments and don't get disheartened as there are many many customers out there who appreciate your work!

kak wiz..sabar kak..jgn stop tau sbb ada pelanggan yang mmg menghargai hasil tgn akak ittew..i alwiz love works ok?!! Biasela kak lain org lain citarasanya..kak lenkali kalu ada yang tak mau, jual je kat saya..sure saya beli..
psss...saya pun tak pandai menilai hasil seni tapi bagi saya apa yg saya tgk mmg cantik sesgt!!!!!! Sabar ye..ni semua dugaan dlm bussiness....

Diff people have diff opinion. What's perfect to us may not be to others. Well, I truly understand when you decide to refund the money. Yes, if its me, I would be hurt by the feedback, but I will try to take it as a positive as possible (walaupun air mata melinang & hati ku sakit...)For me, my hubby is the one who always give harsh feedback on my creations...but only to improve them & I'm OK with it. He once called my mini fondant cake "kek hantu gigi jarang" due to lack of flowers on it :)
So, if you ever want to talk o someone, I;m here & so are thousands others who adore you! Take care!!!
p/s...beli rumah pun ada cracks jugak kan...hehehehe :p

OMG!!! We had your cakes (the sesame street -cookie monsters n what nots) for Mother's Day Celebration and didnt know it was yours! The kids had a hard time which one to choose to eat first..lol

Wow Wiz...very impressive! Congratulations for ur guts to venture into this interestingly colourful cup cakes biz!!(despite our teslian things...)

To my eyes, I didn't see anything wrong with the cup cakes. Anyway, adat la tu Wiz. We cannot cater to the needs of everyone...in whatever we do in life. But if we've managed to cater to the needs of the majority, that's very good enough.

I'll surely would like to order any of those for the kiddies...once I come back.

but they're beautiful! as is all your work i've seen... take heart... i can imagine how you feel, but well, as long as you know you did your best, please don't let people with negative feedback get to you too deep. And it goes to show how professional you are that you refunded the money. I hope your next customers are so great that they make up for this hurt... tc!

Now, what crap is that? The cuppies look perfect to me!! As a customer, I must honestly say that your work is impeccable -- in looks and in taste. So there!

Sabar wiz, bermcm-mcm ragam manusia ada wiz, bukan senang nak cater semuanya. Kita pun seboleh mungkin nak buat yang terbaik bukan cincai punya.. afterall nak dapatkan that red not easy wiz. dont stop doing the ur job. jadikan satu semangat yang bole bangkit dari komen-komen mereka.
